On the 08 of July 2027 at UKZN agriculture campus The Conversation Africa highlighted the importance of translating academic research into accessible, evidence-based stories that can reach the public, media, and policymakers.
The session covered article formats, the editorial process, and best practices for communicating research to non-specialist audiences. It also emphasized how effective science communication can increase research visibility, inform policy, and create greater societal impact.
