Sphesihle Duze is a Media and Communications Liaison Officer at SHEFSSA (Sustainable and Healthy Food Systems Southern Africa), where she plays a key role in translating complex scientific research into accessible and engaging content for diverse audiences. Based in South Africa, she is passionate about strategic communication, science communication, digital media, and stakeholder engagement. 

She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, majoring in Media Studies and Dramatic Performance. She recently graduated cum laude with a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the University of Cape Town, further strengthening her ability in strategic marketing, brand communication, and audience engagement. 

In her role at SHEFSA, Sphesihle manages communication initiatives across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, community engagement channels, and events. She handles developing and sharing content, enhancing the visibility of research and development initiatives, coordinating communication activities, and fostering meaningful engagement with audience.
